Mia had a small blue bottle with a yellow star on it. She took it everywhere.

At the park, she drank cool water and set the bottle by a bench.

Then she ran to the swings. The bottle stayed behind in the sun.

She looked under the bench and behind a tree. Her cheeks grew warm.

Then she saw a boy with a blue bottle. “Is this yours?” he asked.

“I found it by the bench,” said the boy. “My name is Sam.”

Mia opened the bottle and shared her water. They sat together in the shade.

Sam gave her a small leaf. Mia smiled all the way home.
